On Sunday the 19th of March, Simon from the Vigil completed
the Hastings Half Marathon, in 1 hour 46 minutes and 50 seconds
(his best time since 1995).
Simon ran in aid of the Tibetan Escapees Aid Fund in India, and
wore the Tibetan flag on his back for the whole of the race.
A cheque for £600.00 was presented outside the Chinese
Embassy during the Panchen Lama's birthday demonstration 17/05/00. |
